Pharmacology: Sorafenib is a multi-kinase inhibitor. Preclinical studies have shown that sorafenib can simultaneously inhibit a variety of kinases present in cells and cell surfaces, including RAF kinase, vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGF-2), vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-3 (VEGF-3), and platelet-derived growth factor receptor- β (PDGFR- β)、 KIT and FLT-3.
