Purpose: tanshinone IIA is a derivative of tanshinone, which has the effect of inhibiting tumor growth in vivo. It also maintains vasodilation activity in vivo.

Character: tanshinone IIA is orange acicular crystal (EtOAc), mp209~210 ℃. Easily soluble in ethanol, acetone, ether, benzene and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in water.
