Vardenafil（224789-15-5）

Vardenafil hydrochloride (vardenafil) is a PDE5 inhibitor drug. Its mechanism of action is that PDE5 is the main cGMP hydrolase in the corpus cavernosum of human penis. When NO is released during sexual stimulation, it activates the soluble guanosine cyclase, leading to the formation of cyclic guanosine phosphate (cGMP). Inhibition of PDE5 can increase the level of cGMP in the penis, thus enhancing the role of endogenous NO, leading to penis erection.

Vardenafil (Vardenafil) is a selective type 5 phosphodiesterase (PDE5) inhibitor. It has been found that at least 11 isozymes of PDE PDE5 mainly exist in platelets and vascular smooth muscle, especially in the corpus cavernosum of the penis, which can mediate the erectile response.
