Stable under acidic conditions; The stability is poor under neutral and alkaline conditions, but its degradation can be significantly inhibited by adding appropriate amount of ascorbic acid. It mainly exists in some medicinal plants used in, such as Cistanche, Forsythia, Rehmannia and Orobang. Ergosteroside has strong biological activity and multiple effects.
