Introduction: Matrine, also known as matrine, is an alkaloid extracted from the roots, stems and fruits of Sophora flavescens by ethanol and other organic solvents, belonging to the derivative of quinorizidine lupine alkaloids. With specific and natural characteristics, it can be rapidly decomposed in nature, and the final products are carbon dioxide and water. It is a green and environmentally friendly pesticide. Oxymatrine has a strong contact killing effect on Pieris rapae, Anthurium palmatum and Elm blue leaf beetle, and its control effect on peach aphid, radish, pear bifurcate aphid and wheat aphid is more than 90%. Matrine has obvious control effect on the young larvae of diamondback moth and tea black moth. Matrine can prevent and control vegetable green insects, vegetable aphids, melon aphids, borers, ladybugs, beet armyworm, yellow striped flea beetle, diamondback moth, blue-leaf moth, leek maggot, and many other pests on fruit trees, such as caterpillars, boat-shaped caterpillars, gill moths, foot ears, red spider wax scales, scarabs, stink bugs, and many other pests on food crops, such as armyworm, wheat midge and locust. Matrine has biological activities such as contact killing, stomach poisoning, internal absorption, avoidance, antifeeding, sterilization, dry peeling, paralysis of the central nervous system, insect protein coagulation, insect stoma blockage, and insect suffocation. Large target, multi-point pursuit, can inhibit the generation of drug resistance, and still has strong activity against pests that have developed resistance.
Physical and chemical properties: The main components of sophora flavescens include matrine, oxymatrine, sophocarpine, oxysophocarpine, sophoridine and other alkaloids, with the highest content of matrine and oxymatrine. With different crystallization conditions, matrine has four crystal forms: α- Type: needle, melting point 76 ℃; β- Type: short prismatic, melting point 87 ℃; γ- Type: oily liquid, which is changed into α- Type; δ- Type: leafy or prismatic, melting point 84 ℃.
Mechanism of action: matrine is a low toxicity botanical insecticide. Once the insect is touched, the nerve center will be paralyzed, and then the insect protein will coagulate, and the insect stoma will be blocked, causing the insect to suffocate and die.
Main characteristics: matrine is a natural plant pesticide with low toxicity to humans and animals. It is a broad-spectrum insecticide with contact and stomach toxicity. It has a good control effect on vegetable, apple tree, cotton and other crops such as cabbage worm, aphid and red spider.
