Gomisin J(66280-25-9)

Biological activity: Gomisin J is a small molecular weight lignan found in Schisandra chinensis, which has vasodilative activity. GomisinJ regulates adipogenesis by activating AMPK, LKB1 and Ca2+/calmodulin dependent chemicalbook-independent protein kinase II and inhibiting fetuin-A in HepG2 cells, and inhibits lipid accumulation by the expression of lipolytic enzymes and inflammatory molecules. Gomisin J has potential benefits in the study of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.

Chemical properties: White powder, soluble in methanol, ethanol, DMSO and other organic solvents, derived from Schisandra chinensis.

Uses: Used for content determination/identification/pharmacological experiments, etc. Gomisin J is a promising drug against ovarian cancer. In addition, it also showed a strong inhibitory effect on the glucuronidation of SN-8. Gomisin J has antioxidant effect.
